Every dismissal type in the app, and how to record it

Confirm who is out
The striker is assumed; on a run-out you pick which batter went.

Credit the fielder
For a catch, stumping or run-out, choose who did it — this feeds their fielding record, separately from the bowling figures.
The eight on-the-ball dismissals
Bowled, LBW, Hit Wicket — no fielder involved.
Caught — pick the catcher.
Stumped — pick the keeper.
Run Out — pick which batter is out, whether they crossed, and the one or two fielders involved.
Obstructing the Field and Hit the Ball Twice — the rare ones, still here when you need them.
The three that aren't deliveries
Retired hurt, retired out and timed out all happen between balls, so they live behind the batter's name on the scoring screen rather than on the number pad. Tap the batter and pick from there.
Which ones count for the bowler
Bowled, caught, LBW, stumped and hit wicket are credited to the bowler. Run-outs, obstructing, hit the ball twice and all three retirements are not — they go down as wickets for the team but never in a bowling analysis.
Catches, stumpings and run-outs are also tracked as fielding credits for the player who made them, which is why the app asks who was involved.
