Can I score a no-ball with runs, or a wicket off a no-ball?
Quick MatchFull Match
Yes. Tap the extra and the runs together before confirming, and the app splits them correctly. You can also arm WKT alongside an extra for a run-out off a wide or no-ball.
Extra plus runs
Tap the extra first, then the runs — both stay highlighted, and NEXT BALL records them as one delivery. A no-ball that was smashed for four adds five to the team, four to the batter and five to the bowler's figures.
Extra and runs armed together, waiting on NEXT BALL.
Wicket plus extra
Arm WKT as well and you can record a dismissal on the same delivery. The app then narrows the dismissal list to the ones that are actually possible — you cannot be bowled off a wide.
If runs were scored on the delivery, the dismissal choices narrow to run-out style dismissals for the same reason: a batter can't be caught and also have run three.
How it shows up afterwards
In the over timeline and every ball-by-ball view, a combined delivery gets its own chip — 4nb, 2wd, W+1nb — so you can read back exactly what happened weeks later.
People also ask
Can you be out off a no ball?
Only by run out, obstructing the field or hitting the ball twice. You cannot be bowled, caught or LBW off a no-ball, and Gully Crix narrows the dismissal list accordingly.
How do you score four runs off a no ball?
Five runs to the team — one penalty plus four off the bat — with the four credited to the batter and all five charged to the bowler. The ball is re-bowled.
Can a batsman be run out off a wide?
Yes. A wide does not prevent a run out, and the dismissal is recorded on the same delivery.
