How to read the full scorecard

Full Match

Each innings tab shows batting with dismissals, bowling figures, extras, the total, who did not bat, partnerships and fall of wickets. † marks the wicket-keeper, (c) the captain and * a not-out batter.

The symbols

  • * after a name — not out.
  • — wicket-keeper.
  • (c) — captain.
  • b Rohit — bowled by Rohit.
  • c Sagar b Rohit — caught by Sagar, bowled by Rohit.
  • st Manthan b Rohit — stumped by Manthan off Rohit.
  • run out (Rohit) — run out, Rohit involved. No bowler credit.

The bowling columns

O overs, R runs conceded, Ex extras charged to them, W wickets, Econ runs per over.

The † and (c) marks come from the WK and C buttons in your team sheet — set them once and every scorecard carries them.

What does the asterisk mean on a cricket scorecard?

It marks a not-out batter. So 52* means fifty-two not out. Beside a bowler's name in some formats it can also mean captain, but on a batting line it is always not out.

What does c and b mean in cricket scoring?

'c Sagar b Rohit' means caught by Sagar off Rohit's bowling. 'b Rohit' alone means bowled by Rohit, and 'st Manthan b Rohit' means stumped by the keeper Manthan off Rohit.

What does the dagger symbol mean in cricket?

Overs bowled, runs conceded, wickets taken, and economy — runs per over. Some scorecards add Ex for the extras charged to that bowler.
