Why doesn't Quick Match count toward career stats?

Quick Match tracks the team score, not who faced or bowled each ball, so there is nothing to credit to a player's career. Score a Full Match — with named players — and every ball feeds career stats.
The two modes record different things
Quick Match is built for speed: two team names, an over count, and you are scoring within seconds. It records what happened to the team — runs, wickets, extras, over by over — but not who was on strike or bowling. Full Match records every ball against named players from your Squad Book.
The app says it at the door: Quick Match is anonymous scoring, Full Match is player-level.
Career stats are computed from stored deliveries: this player faced this ball, scored these runs, was out this way. A Quick Match delivery carries none of that, so there is genuinely nothing to add to anyone's career — it is not a restriction, it is missing information.
