Head to head: how one batter fares against one bowler
Full MatchNew in 3.4
At the bottom of the Compare screen, head to head shows every ball those two have actually contested across your saved Full Matches — runs, balls, strike rate, dismissals and boundaries, in both directions.
Both directions, because the argument always runs both ways.
How it is counted
Wides are not balls faced; runs off a no-ball are.
Only bowler-credited dismissals count — a run-out is not the bowler's win.
Full Matches only. Quick Match never records who bowled to whom.
Tap the strip of coloured balls to open every delivery of the matchup, grouped by dated match.
People also ask
Can I see how a batsman performs against a specific bowler?
Yes, if the matches were scored ball by ball with named players. Gully Crix aggregates every delivery those two have contested into a head-to-head record, in both directions.
What is a head to head record in cricket?
A batter's record against one specific bowler — runs, balls, strike rate and dismissals in the deliveries they have actually faced from them, rather than their overall career.
